Haunted Yakiniku

There is a place in Makati called little Tokyo, obviously with that name you can guess that all the resto in that compound serves Japanese food. I fancy this Yakiniku place that we call "Haunted House" because it looks like an old fashioned Japanese haunted house. Looks old but I think that's how they really designed the place. There is a mini bar at the entrance (I'm not really sure what drinks they sell there) and a bookshelf full of manga. But unlike most traditional Japanese resto, they will not require you to remove your shoes once you enter the place (but there is a shoe rack per table) and you will not sit on the floor.

We ordered some egg soup (really really really AWESOME) 1 order of roce (that's how they call the meat that we ordered) one japanese bacon and two plain rice. Like the original yakiniku style, you will cook it by yourself, grilling time. The meat were thinly sliced so it was easy to cook. They have this exhaust on top to lessen the smoke or it will look like a pot session room.

The food taste was, as always amazing. I don't know how they do it, but its really tasty. Put some of their yakiniku sauce and mix it with garlic..... MOUTHGASM. The bacon (that was our first time to try that) was really good. Looks different to the usual bacon that you buy at the super market (doesn't have that curly look when it is cooked) and the taste is 10x better. The egg soup looks simple. Some carrots, mushroom and i forgot the other one, mixed with egg and some sesame seeds. Really simple but it's really tasty. I remembered the first time we tried that. I had a fever that time. Drinking a hot tea or some hot soup would usually help makes the body temperature better.

Since I don't live near the area, whenever i have the chance to sleep over we see to it that we go there and eat. It opens around 5pm or 5:30pm i think, till midnight.
